Twenty years ago, I discovered the joy of knitting. It immediately became my favourite hobby, bringing me so much happiness in everyday life – and, not least, a handmade wardrobe I was proud of.
 

Over time, I was inspired to create my own designs: garments I longed to wear but couldn’t find patterns for. I received many lovely comments on my creations, but it wasn’t until 2023, when I was asked to design four bridal pieces for a bridal boutique, that I began writing down my patterns. Once I had started, I went on to publish my previous designs – and that is how My Chic Knits came to life.
 

My knitwear designs are characterised by a classic, feminine aesthetic, with plenty of texture and beautiful details worked in delicate yarns. Here you’ll find lace, cables, flowers and puff sleeves – far from minimalism, with a distinct touch of nostalgia – and, not least, designs that are a joy to knit!

Whenever you feel like treating yourself to a little luxury and creating a unique piece that cannot simply be bought, but must be knitted by hand, I hope you’ll find inspiration among my patterns.
