Summer Snowflake Sweater is a simple top with puff sleeves and a decorative lace border along the neckline, sleeves and hem. The top is designed to be worn either way, with the neckline fastening at either the front or the back.

The pattern includes instructions for both short and long sleeves. If you choose the long-sleeved version, you will need one or two additional skeins of each yarn beyond the amounts listed in the yarn table.

This sweater is an easy and enjoyable knit with no particularly challenging techniques, making it a great beginner-friendly project. It is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with raglan increases, using one strand of merino held together with one strand of silk mohair on 4 mm / US 6 needles. With a gauge of 20 stitches per 10 cm / 4 inches, the design works well with a wide variety of yarn combinations.
