Pearl Scarf is a small, textured scarf featuring rows of bobbles combined with seed stitch.

The scarf is worked sideways and shaped with gradual increases and decreases, creating an elegant tapered shape at each end. The pattern includes both a chart and written instructions.

The sample shown in the pattern is worked with one strand of DROPS Alpaca held together with one strand of DROPS Kid-Silk on 4 mm / US 6 needles. With a gauge of 20 stitches / 28 rows, the design works well with a wide variety of yarn combinations. Alternatively, the scarf can be worked with a single strand of yarn without a lace-weight companion yarn; in this case, 3.5 mm / US 4 needles are recommended.

For a scarf measuring approximately 105–120 cm / 41.3–47.2 inches, you will need just one skein of each yarn: 50 g of alpaca and 25 g of Kid-Silk. The result is a light and airy scarf that can be tied once around the neck.

When you purchase the pattern, you will receive a folder containing both the English and Norwegian versions.
